Lumberjanes: The Good Egg

3rd in the series

Middle Grade Fantasy

Summary: This volume focuses on Ripley. She finds a nest of eggs and immediately bonds with the smallest egg while also participating in camp wide theatrical retellings of fairy tales. Then someone steals Eggie.

Likes: I wasn’t expecting to cry near the end of this but I did. I also like that we see a bit more of Barney in this one. They really get to come out of their shell and show their strengths.

Dislikes: Ripley isn’t my favorite Lumberjane. This was a fun book though.

Overall I’ve been really liking this series and have moved right along to the fourth one about Mal and Molly.
