Dengeki Daisy, Vol. 1

by Kyousuke Motomi

Shojo Beat, 2007

Summary: Teru loses her brother but he gives her cell phone and tells her that she can always talk to Daisy. Then Teru accidentally breaks a window at school so the grouchy, young janitor, Kurosaki, demands that she help him out to pay him back. But things get complicated because there are multiple people around Teru who are not all they seem and they may have connections to her brother and the projects he was doing before he died.

Likes: So much angst. I also love how much attitude Teru and Kurosaki have. I just find all of it interesting too. Plus it’s hilarious. I was laughing so hard while reading this.

Dislikes: The computer related plot stuff sometimes feels a bit contrived.

Overall I definitely want to continue the series. Lots of mysteries alongside the developing romance.
