Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme that was created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week it is about bookish merchandise. I took a gander on Etsy for inspiration and I present some themes.
Bookish Tea
I’m particularly fond of fruity teas but I also enjoy looking at the combinations people have done, particularly to evoke fictional locations.
Sweatshirts
Related, I like the sweatshirts for fictional places particularly the estates in Jane Austen novels.
Totes
Some are book covers, some are interesting graphic designs. I love using totes to carry my stuff mostly to and from work.
Book Sleeves
I keep debating about getting these for the different sizes of paperbacks I tend to be reading.
T-shirts
So many people do amazing graphics, covers, phrases, or locations on t-shirts now.
Pins
I really like The Night Circus pins I saw.
Art
I am a little persnickety about art. I have seen some interesting ones with silhouettes and locations. Watercolor ones particularly stand out to me.
Stationery
I love decorating my journals and planners with washi tape.
Costumes
There are so many characters I’d love to dress up as from manga and fantasy novels.
Tattoos
This may not count as merchandise but you do pay to get tattoos and it is physical art, it just happens to be on your skin. Part of this is money but I’m concerned I’ll be that small percentage that is allergic to the ink.
I want more bookish shirts but I need to find them for fandoms I actually like. Harder than you’d think.

I love bookish T-shirts and totes. I didn’t follow the prompt today, instead I posted my 5-star reads for the first part of the year.

I love a good sweatshirt, especially living in Canada! I have one book-related hoodie; it’s a Camp Half-Blood hoodie that I received for Christmas a few years ago from my niece.
