Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by the Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week the theme is online resources for book lovers so I thought I’d mention a couple things I use and read at work that might help other people.

Fantastic Fiction is super helpful. I use it a lot to help patrons when they like an author and I want to see what else they’ve written. It also helps me see the order of books in a series and if the author has multiple series I can see them all in one place. Sometimes I also use it to recommend other authors based on the author the patron likes.

I also like reading articles on Book Riot. I don’t always agree with the recommendations but I always get something out of reading them.

I tend to turn to Tor.com for articles too. I like their focus on science fiction and fantasy.

John Scalzi’s blog is a treat. Sometimes the posts are about treats. I also enjoy Gail Carriger’s blog.

Let me know what sites you like to use.
