Summary: Atl is on the run after her family is decimated by a rival group of vampires. Domingo collects interesting items out of the trash and sells them. Ana is an experienced cop. All of them are in Mexico City and things get complicated when their paths cross because those other vampires are still after Atl.
Likes: Their are different types of vampires in this world and it makes things interesting. Mexico City is also a dynamic setting and plays a big role in the story. I found multiple characters interesting.
Dislikes: The character I liked the most had a bad ending. Life isn’t fair sometimes.
Overall this is a slower pace than what I was expecting but I don’t hate it. I still like Mexican Gothic and Gods of Jade and Shadow more but I’d still recommend this one if you’ve read the other two.
