Review: Fugitive Telemetry

Fugitive Telemetry

6th in the Murderbot series

by Martha Wells

Tor, 2021

Adult Science Fiction Novella

Summary: Murderbot is called in to help solve a murder just in case it is linked to a bigger plot that could threaten the people they care about.

Likes: The power dynamics are interesting between Murderbot and the various people who work for the station. The contrasts are also fun because Preservation does things differently than a bigger station would.

Dislikes: There is a moment that does make sense in the narrative and what we know about how people feel about SecUnits but I still felt really bad for Murderbot.

Overall I am so glad this series is continuing. I adore it. This installment was a lot of fun.
