Summary: George identifies as a girl but no one around her sees it. When her school chooses to do the play, Charlotte’s Web, after reading the book. George tries out for the part of Charlotte, hoping to play a character she loves and to show everyone who she is inside.
Likes: I like that this has a hopeful ending but not unrealistic. Unfortunately, there are still characters who don’t support her but the people who matter do and are willing to work. Kelly and George’s friendship is awesome.
Dislikes: The teacher’s reaction to George’s audition.
Overall I’m so glad I finally read this. It made me sad and happy. It also got me thinking about a whole lot of stuff. I do recommend this one.
