Summary: *I won’t spoil this book but I might spoil the previous.* Binti returns home with Okwu and things get complicated because she is trying to come to terms with her new identity plus the people of her planet have a complicated relationship with each other and Okwu’s people.
Likes: Binti’s connection to the desert to ground herself is something I still relate to. I also appreciate that we got more of the world-building on her planet.
Dislikes: I don’t like that people lied to Binti and made excuses for it. They should have cared about her more.
Overall this ended on a cliffhanger so I want to move right along to the last novella but I probably need to stop and process for a day or two.
