YA Contemporary Comic

9 cups of tea out of 11

Summary: The new King’s Row fencing team faces off against another school’s team and they learn the hard way that this battle isn’t the same as competing in individual matches.

Likes: I like that Nicholas is more and more motivated to improve. He also has a couple bonding moments with Seiji because they understand each other better. The match with the other school’s team was also enlightening.

Dislikes: I don’t like Jesse but I do like how much he stirs up Seiji and Nicholas.

Overall I was so excited to get this next volume from the library. I have been really enjoying this series. I’m also really into the slow burn romance. They have chemistry and they’ve been bonding. Plus I’m still laughing.
