Summary: This is the beginning to the Priestess of Byakko’s tale. After the events of Genbu Kaiden, Ohsugi tries to destroy the Universe of the Four Gods but when a catastrophic earthquake rocks Tokyo he tells his daughter, Suzuno, to open the book.
Likes: This was so different than I expected. Suzuno is a kid at the start which is an obvious difference but she is dealing with the book world as a child. I think we’ve met a Warrior (possibly two) but that wasn’t firmly revealed. I have so many questions about how this series will go and that’s exciting. I already ship the couple too.
Dislikes: Once again a guy physically and verbally shoves his feelings, angrily, on a main character.
Overall this was different than the others. Suzuno knew Takiko from the Genbu Kaiden series and we start out the story with her as a child. But this one will also be different because we’ve already met three of the warriors and we know the ending (even more than we knew the ending for Genbu because of events in the first series which chronologically comes last). But there are enough variations and interesting circumstances that I am intrigued to see how this will all go.
