Summary: The DWMA students are going out on missions but some of the main characters leave to take on mysterious challenges.
Likes: There are little moments that stand out: Marie and Stein sharing a small moment, Soul helping Maka choose a note on the piano that represents her, and the friendship moments between Kim and Jackie. They aren’t the main characters so we don’t see them too often before this but I’m glad they’re getting more to their story.
Dislikes: “Madness” is a bit of a murky concept and sometimes serves as a catchall for emotions like passion and fear.
Overall I was happy to see a mission with Maka and Soul that was sort of in the anime but not like this. It was cool to read something and not know how it would go exactly.
