Summary: This book covers Leonardo da Vinci’s life and work (which was a lot even thought we don’t have that many completed paintings from him).
Likes: I learned a ton of information about Leonardo and the Renaissance. Also, it was presented to me in an entertaining way and mostly in chronological order.
Dislikes: The author inserted himself too much. I wanted less of his opinions and the repetition of them. Also, the parts where Isaacson went into the science that Leonardo was studying were a bit more of a slog.
Overall I thought this was an interesting read and I’m glad I picked it up and took my time with it.
