Summary: Our main character probes the mysteries of the past, more and more intrigue is happening across the various countries.
Likes: The art is still consistently stunning.
Dislikes: There are a lot of characters and plot threads. I’m having trouble keeping track of them and caring about them all from volume to volume.
Overall I did get a little impatient with the multiple plot threads and other characters so I’m a little on the fence about continuing the series but I probably will when the next volume comes out because I find the main character compelling if not likable and I’m interested to see how her situation develops.

Violence – High, lots of dead bodies, headless cats, stabbing
Language – Medium, swearing is liberally applied throughout but not constant
Sexual – Mild, there are a couple situations with women naked in intimate situations but we don’t see anything

Ah pity that there are lots of plot threads at this stage- but glad the artwork is still stunning- I’ve only read the first one and that was the biggest selling product for me. Great review!
