Summary: Xander finds three zombie unicorns in his backyard because they’ve been banished from their dimension for trying to eat their friends.
Like: There were some pretty funny moments.
Dislikes: A lot of this was a bit overwritten. Multiple sentences could have been condensed into one. Also there were paragraphs that could have been taken out. For instance, Xander is running home then he sees the rainbows and in the middle of that we get a paragraph on Xander’s physical health. He doesn’t eat a lot of sweets, but he eats well and isn’t an athlete. It messed up the pacing. The overall plot was a bit weak too.
Overall this book really wasn’t for me. Unicorns scare me, zombies scare me. In this book there are zombie unicorns. There were pieces of it that I found funny though. So I wouldn’t write off this series just because I’m not into it.
