Some months I don’t have any plan when it comes to reading. For June I have a plan because Goodreads created a summer reading challenge! There are two levels: beginner and expert. The expert one has more tasks and part of the challenge is to get specific ones done in a certain month. Thus, I have a list of books I’d like to get to in June specifically.
Some of these might be a stretch but…
For “Take Pride,” I’m reading Casket of Souls.
For “Into the Great Wide Open,” I chose The Language of Thorns.
For “It’s the End of the World,” Just One Damned Thing After Another
For “Hook ‘Em,” If You Didn’t Bring Jerky, What Did I Just Eat?
For “Sports-a-holic,” Zeroboxer
For “Dear Pen Pal,” P.S. I Like You
For “Father Knows Best,” Court of Fives
For “Campfire Story,” The Guns of Empire
And for “Ocean Blue,” Victory of Eagles
I won’t be doing anything for “Sick Day” because I read everything I was assigned to in school. My teachers were fans of pop quizzes and writing prompts. I’m not one of those people who can fake it. Some books were a chore but there were a bunch I genuinely liked.
I haven’t decided yet what to read for “School’s Out for Summer.” I’m leaning more towards what I read in my American Literature classes though.
Ooh I like the sound of the GR summer reading challenge 😀 I really want to read language of thorns and I really liked PS I like you 😀
