Cardcaptor Sakura Book 3
by CLAMP
Dark Horse Manga, 2012
10 out of 11 cups of tea
Summary: Two new transfer students, one into Sakura’s class and the other into Toya’s, start causing problems. Are they trying to help Sakura become stronger or are they trying to destroy her?
Likes: I like that the magic of the Clow Cards is becoming more complex. I also like that relationships are deepening and strengthening. I also like the transfer students, despite myself.
Dislike: The teacher and student relationship is still there.
Overall I wasn’t sure what was going to happen with this book exactly because of what happened in the last one. (Sorry to be vague I just don’t want to spoil Book 2.) Basically, Sakura achieved her big goal so I was confused what would happen next. But I like where the story went. I like added complexity and interesting opponents.
