Review: Cardcaptor Sakura Book 2

Cardcaptor Sakura Book 2

Dark Horse Manga, 2011

10 cups of tea out of 11

Summary: Sakura continues to collect cards and also meets the other guardian of the book.

Likes: Sakura’s class does a production of Sleeping Beauty and it is absolutely precious. Syaoran and Sakura’s relationship is also developing. I was also prompted to have an interesting conversation about multiple characters who create personas and then completely immerse themselves in the persona, forgetting their original selves.

Dislike: We still have some form of relationship between the teacher and the elementary school student.

Overall I recommend this volume too. I really enjoyed rereading it.
